Brain’s love of language and passion for clear, empowering communication led him to study English in college and seek out as many and varied writing assignments as possible. Notable writing oddities include how-to for crochet patterns, marketing copy for a janitorial supply catalog, and ghostwriting for a TV chef. As an editor with Wiley, Brian learned the power of brands, editing titles and eventually developing new series for CliffsNotes and For Dummies, which led him to Better Homes & Gardens, where he’s been able to combine his love of words and home for two decades. Brian is a member of NAPO, The National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals.
