Salted Lemon Rolls:
Prepare Cinnamon Rolls as directed, except omit cinnamon, ginger, black pepper, brown sugar, and the Cinnamon Roll Icing. After spreading dough with butter, spread with 1/3 cup cherry preserves and sprinkle with 1 1/2 cups fresh or frozen cranberries.
