Cut your boards to length. Depending on your configuration, you need 6 boards for the first hexagon and 4-5 for each additional hexagon. Ours were 12-1/4 inches before we trimmed the angles. Depending on your desired scale for the hexagon shelves, you can adjust this measurement. The angles should be running in opposite directions on the ends so that the long face tapers in. To do this: Repeat this process with the remaining pieces to complete your first hexagon, and then do the same thing to connect your remaining hexagons.
