Step 1: Prep and Sand
Gather your materials. Put on gloves, eye protection, and a dust mask. Then use the diamond-embedded sanding block to sand the surface in circular motions. Wipe clean with a damp cloth.
Step 2: Apply Base Coat
Pour adhesive base coat into a roller tray. Apply with a foam roller to the surface. Then use the spray bottle to apply wetting agent to the surface. Once the base coat is applied, you have a 20-minute window to apply the color chips.
Step 3: Apply Decorative Chips
Use the rotary chip dispenser to spread decorative chips evenly over the entire surface. Let dry at least 12 hours.
Step 4: Smooth and Sand
After the surface dries, use a dry rag to brush off loose chips. Then use the chip scraper to smooth edges and remove additional loose chips. Be careful not to gouge the surface. Working in circular patterns, use the diamond-embedded sanding block to further smooth the surface. Compare your surface to the included sample swatch. When it feels similar to the touch, you are done sanding. Remove dust. Editor’s Tip: While you are sanding, the surface will look lighter than the final result. Don’t worry. It will get darker and shinier after you complete all the steps.
Step 5: Apply Top Coat
Wearing gloves and eye protection, pour the contents of the Part A activator into the Part B base, and mix with the stir stick for at least two minutes. Pour the blended mixture into a paint tray. Use a high-density foam roller to apply a heavy, even coat of the mixture to the surface. Once complete, reroll a final pass of top coat onto the wet surface, rolling in one direction.
